This came out of nowhere! I was watching The Little Mermaid and wanted to try and duplicated the underwater backgrounds, so I drew a rock...which turned into this. 
I've been practicing drawing completely by tablet/Photoshop, and this is my first completely PS work, so be gentle. I'm doing better than I thought, but I had to take a break from my other PS endeavor (you'll see). Ariel still looks a little too separate from the background even with me overusing textures like I do, so I'll have to work on that.
And what kind of DA artist would I be if I didn't draw Ariel at some point? She has such awesome hair.
