FINALLY FINISHED THIS PUPPY


More Weather Eye art. I recently got into a most excellent band called The Kills, and one of their songs got me thinking, so I started drawing this a few months ago. Pretty soon this song became the theme song for that trio of sexy up there. xD

From left to right - Alex, Liv, Rowan. We've been talking about their different levels of morality and how the three of them have a really weird character parallels, stuff that we didn't even think about the first time around - it just fell neatly into place. And, well, the three of them are exceedingly good-looking people. xD

It's not too spoilery, but I won't say quite how they're all connected yet. Assume whatever you like about their relationships - you could be right. Or you could be wrong! There's a loooot of hidden symbolism floating around here, so once the story comes out, it might become more obvious. Definitely inspired by the whole "red string of destiny" thing though.

This was a really difficult picture for me because I was just starting out drawing via tablet and PS when I started this, but I've improved over the last few months (if only the lines were thinner ). Especially those damn ribbons. The underlighting was a last-minute decision, and actually, it worked better than I thought it would! Thanks to =Shira-chan for her help on that.
