Sketchdump: Modern Girls, Old-Fashioned Men

A dump of sketches that have been sitting in my files since this past summer. I just bought myself a new Bamboo Connect tablet last night and wanted to test it out. It works beautifully 8D

These are all conceptual sketches of my characters from my work-in-progress webcomic, Dualité, which is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Up in the top right corner is my main male character, Jobe, who is the 'Beauty' of the story. I'm starting to get a better feel on him, but it's hard to be consistent with a guy who's simultaneously pretty and scruffy. Next to him is his dad, Arlo.

Across from them are Ana and her children, Nora and Brit (Nora is the older girl, Brit is the boy behind her), and underneath on the bottom left and right is Eli and Romana in various interactions. Mostly her bitching at him and dragging him off to partake in some 1905-y shenanigans!

Dualité is my upcoming webcomic, a genderswapped retelling of Beauty and the Beast set in early 20th century America.
